Acrylic is made from a water base,
Bitumen liquid waterproofing systems
are fully bonded & seamless. polymermodified bitumen can be water
based or solvent based solutions often
used for underground / below grade ,
roofs, and other types of structures.
Cementitious types of
waterproofing offer strong
waterproofing capability however
they are not flexible and prone to
cracking
pigment and binder (dispersed in an
acrylic polymer emulsion.)
Typically acylic is a low cost, low VOC,
short life span product used by people
looking for a temporary fix.
Bitumen coatings do not offer
excellent UV resistance over long
periods of time (hence they are often
hidden from UV exposure)
